Ragtime has just had her transom professionally rebuilt by Metan Marine, a group specializing in restoring Seacraft, and specifically the Seacraft 23s. Rather than remounting the twin 1993 Evenrude 2 stroke 150s (750 hours), the owner (28 years now) has left the new transom pristine in case the new owner wants to repower with a different configuration. The 2 stroke Evenrude 150s run great and are available in storage.
The topsides are bright red concept paint with two clear coats over the original red gelcoat and looks absolutely spectacular. Trim is bright teak with cover boards around the transom, and nice accents around the helm and cockpit.
The welded aluminum T Top is hard and supports a 4 position rocket launcher, the radar and a pair of Rupp Top Gun 16 ft outriggers. A 3 sided isinglass enclosure keeps you dry in wet weather. The vintage 2007 electronics are networked and waterproof. The leaning post has four built in rod holders along with seating or leaning for two. Aft cockpit seating is good for three, and forward of the console is still more seating. The forward casting platform is protected by bolsters.
Here is a serious boat for a serious angler or collector. Ragtime is out fitted with all the modern electronics including a Ray Marine auto pilot help on the runs off shore. She is fully equipped.
She is out of the water on her trailer, a 2003 dual axle galvanized EZ Loader with torsion bar suspension, anti sway bars, surge brakes, and an electric winch. This trailer has never been dipped in salt water and has freshwater flushing on each hub.
Here is a wonderful example of the classic Seacraft 23 ft center console, in great shape, perfect for someone who appreciates the quality of these older Center Consoles.
